CyanoLakes has been awarded a grant from the European Commission under Horizon 2020 to implement its services with pilot users in Europe over the next 3 years.
The project called “CyanoLakes: The cyanobacteria public information service” began on 1 November 2016 and runs for three years.
CyanoLakes (Pty) is the project co-ordinator and lead, with technical implementation partners Brockmann Consult GmbH (Hamburg, Germany), Odermatt & Brockmann GmbH (Zurich, Switzerland) and Brockmann Geomatics Sweden (Stockholm, Seweden).
Our pilot user partners benefiting from the service are the Department of Environment and Primary Prevention, Environmental Quality and Fish Farming (Rome, Italy), The Information Office for the Baltic Sea — InfoBaltic (Stockholm, Sweden), and Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development (Tulcea, Romania).
We are very much looking forward to working with all the project partners to implement our services!
If you are an organization interested in being one our pilot users, please contact us! You could be one of the first service users and you don’t have to be in Europe.
