Marian IANI is employee at Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development Tulcea, since 1995 in the Department of Ecological Restoration and Species Recovery – Sturgeon Research Group. He graduated in Environmental Science at the “Lower Danube University” in 2016 and is employed as Research Assistant in 2017. He is currently first year Master student at the “Lower Danube University” Galati, study program: “Monitoring and Management of Environment”. He has experience working with different types of marking equipment, telemetry and monitoring sturgeon migration, such as: VEMCO and Lotek fish tracking and monitoring ultrasonic equipment, Pop-up Satellite Archival Tags (PSATs), Coded Wire Tags (CWT), PIT tags, DIDSON camera, acquired skills in several national and international research contracts on Danube River sturgeons breeding and feeding habitats
