Lucian –Eugen Bolboacă, PhD, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, specializing in Biology in 2008, followed by a master’s degree in Ecosystems Biodiversity and Productivity completed in 2010 at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași. He continued with his his doctoral studies in Biology, at the same university. He obtained his PhD in 2013. Between 2014 and 2016 he completed post- doctoral studies at “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad. He published 19 scientific papers, participated at 14 International and national conferences and it is coauthor of 2 specialty books. He was involved in 10 national and international research and educational projects. Since 2016 he has been employed at the Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development as a Researcher in the Center for the Study of Zoonoses and Emerging Diseases. Expertise: ornithology, mammalogy, biodiversity conservation, ecology.
