Liliana Ene finished the Faculty of Ecology and Natural Sciences with the specialization in Environment Protection, 2009. In the frame of the Faculty she attended courses such as: Ecology, Management of Water Resources, Geology etc. She graduated in 2017, the Master in Management of Naturals Resources in context of Sustainable Development at the Ecological University from Bucharest.
For several years she worked for Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority, where she gained experience in making written materials (leaflets, posters, brochures) for information and environmental education of the public, distributed at various stands and exhibition stand, educational projects and also conducting information campaigns, environmental education and public awareness, conducted at the Centre of Information and Ecological Education Tulcea and Sfântul Gheorghe (D.D.B.R.).
Since 2015 she works at Danube Delta National Institute within Ecological Restoration and Species Recovery Department as Scientific Research Assistant. Her main research interests are in natural resources, protected areas and management plans. She was involved in projects about tourism management of protected areas in South-Eastern Romania, elaborating analyze legislation to establish a trilateral management entity and joint management plan for protected areas in the Danube Delta and the Lower Prut Region. She is also involved in Project Restoration Ecosystems in Şontea-Fortuna, part of Natura 2000 sites ROSPA0031 and ROSCI0065 from Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (RESTORATION-DD).
