Vasile Alexe is research fellow specialized in ornithology and holds his master in Biology from Universități Ovidius Constanța. His research and consultancy work is related to biodiversity conservation, ecology of conservative interest species etc.).
He led national research projects (Biological and ecological research on bird species of Community interest in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve – SPA Nature 2000 – in 2009 – 2010 period, Elaborating sets of management measures at national level for species Castor fiber, Lutra Lutra and Mustela lutreola – in 2013 – 2014), Monitoring colonies waterbirds respectively species of the bird species for which were designated SPA in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve in 2015 period. He has contributed to various international projects both as a leader or as a key expert (Achievement services, installation and maintenance of artificial nests for the White-tailed Eagle on the territory of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve – Danube Parks in 2010 – 2011 period).
